How to connect LED strips
Do not connect LED strips longer than 5 m to each other – such connections may cause voltage drops. Connecting LED strips to a power supply should be done according to the diagram:

How to solder LED strips?
Another way to connect LED strips is soldering.
Right at the beginning, you should prepare the necessary items:- transformer- soldering iron- tin- strips or wires to be soldered.
Heat the soldering iron (the temperature should be between 320-380 °C).
2) Apply the tin to the designated spots of the LED strip (all information about these spots can be found at the link
3) Connect the dots horizontally with the applied tin.
Wait a few seconds until the mold has cooled down.

Used for short lengths of LED strips up to 5 m.
The above scheme should be used only for short distances when the length of the LED strip does not exceed 5 meters. At the very beginning, we connect the LED strip to the dimmer, to which we connect the purchased power supply. All these activities should be done on the spot. Only when the whole set is connected, it is put on the strip and glued LEDs on it.
