The flowering phase
The plant’s growth rate increases to a PAR(PPFD) of 1,500 µmols/m2/sec at the optimum temperature and CO₂ level. We recommend a PAR level of 750 µmols/m2/sec for the grow room. Increasing PAR above this level is not recommended as the extra energy consumed does not justify the growth level of the plant.
Vegetative phase
The PAR intensity level during the vegetative phase is about half the PAR level during the flowering stage. The recommended level is 300 – 400 µmols/m2/sec for a grow room. You can achieve this level by using a hardware dimmer to reduce the power consumption by 50%. If this is impossible, you can reduce the number of lamps or raise the light source to 1.5 higher.
